Surface Temperature K-type thermocouple probe, with stainless steel tube
Master Surface Heat Measurement
Traditional probes often fail when checking flat surfaces. Air gaps between the sensor and the material create inaccurate readings. The Surface Temperature K-type thermocouple probe solves this problem with its unique flat-head design. It ensures maximum contact with your workpiece. This tool gives you the exact data you need for industrial maintenance and quality control.
Why the Stainless Steel Tube Matters
A rugged environment demands a tough tool. The stainless steel tube protects the delicate internal wiring from physical damage and high heat. This construction allows you to press the probe firmly against hot plates or engine blocks without fear of bending the sensor.
-
Flat-Tip Accuracy: The specialized sensor head sits flush against any flat or slightly curved surface.
-
Rapid Heat Transfer: The metal-to-metal contact delivers stabilized readings in just seconds.
-
Ergonomic Control: A comfortable handle keeps your hands away from the heat source during testing.
-
Universal Standard: The K-type mini-connector plugs directly into your existing digital thermometers.
Versatility for Every Industry
Mechanical engineers use this probe to check bearing temperatures. HVAC technicians rely on it to monitor heat exchanger efficiency. It also works perfectly for plastic molding and laboratory hot plates. Because the stainless steel tube resists corrosion, you can use it in damp or chemically active settings.
Reliable Results Every Shift
Don't let poor contact ruin your data. This probe eliminates the thermal lag common with general-purpose sensors. It provides a true "skin" temperature of your equipment. This reliability helps you identify overheating parts before they fail.
Upgrade your thermal kit today. The Surface Temperature K-type thermocouple probe offers the durability and precision that modern professionals demand.
The HI766B2 is a round surface K-type thermocouple probe with a handle designed for use with a thermocouple thermometer. A cable extends 1 m (3.3’) from the handle to the thermocouple connector with the meter. The spring-loaded, 8 mm diameter surface of the probe allows users to obtain highly accurate temperature readings of furnaces, molds, and other high temperature, round surfaces.- Measures up to 900°C (1650°F)
- 3 second response time
- Spring-loaded sensor
